It's so hard to say goodbye
Dear della bowls family,
Along my entrepreneurial journey, I continue to learn that focus is key. Since 2015, I’ve been wearing two hats, as both the CEO and founder of The Doral Yard (formerly The Wynwood Yard) and of della bowls. After a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to place my focus entirely on The Doral Yard. While I’m sad to say goodbye to della bowls, I feel so proud of the amazing community we’ve built and the opportunity to have played a role in South Florida’s plant-based movement.
And so, after seven years, della bowls bids farewell on July 24th, with immense gratitude to our amazing team and community.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the della bowls journey, especially Chef Julie Frans and Trina Sargalski, who have been integral forces behind the business since Day 1. We also want to shout out to the amazing leaders who have run the day-to-day operation over the years, including Tamesha Warren, Ana Vasquez, Jose Fuster, Sean Talley and Darnell Dunn.
When we first opened della bowls in a food truck at The Wynwood Yard in 2015, I never could have imagined the beautiful community of guests, friends and collaborators that would emerge from this business. Please know that every kind word, purchase of a bowl, positive review, and smiling face has left a mark on us. Thank you for being part of this journey. We hope you’ll come by to enjoy one last della bowl with us and remain connected to the magic at The Doral Yard.
With love and endless appreciation,
Della
