Recipe for green sauce: it's not your nonna's pesto
della bowls green sauce is reminiscent of traditional pesto… only so much better! We power-pack the sauce with nutrient-dense ingredients like walnuts and spinach, and we make it creamy with almond milk in place of traditional parmesan cheese.
How to use green sauce...
Green sauce is a perfect compliment to our green bowl, as the creamy basil-walnut sauce pairs perfectly with sesame broccoli, marinated lentils, avocado, and quinoa. It also goes particularly well with brown rice, chickpeas, raw roots, marinated kale, and roasted sweet potatoes. Add it to your favorite BYOB (build-your-own bowl ) to create your perfect globally-inspired bowl.
But don’t stop at bowls with your green sauce!
May we recommend using it as a sauce to your favorite eggplant dish? Here’s an idea: gluten-free breaded eggplant with you favorite cheese (dairy or non-dairy) smothered with marinara and topped with della bowls green sauce.
Or, perhaps you’re an expert “spiralizer” and you love those zoodles. Toss them in this sauce for an amazing flavor boost that will “wow” the whole family.
Keep your green sauce in the fridge and add a scoop into soups, sauces, dressing, hummus, yogurt dips, and more!
